<br />'- <br /> <br />~' <br /> <br />Goals & Objectives: <br />Our goal is for the children to stabilize emotionally, improve developmentally and evolve socially. <br />In addition, we will provide a comprehensive support system for Foster, Kinship and Birth Families that will <br />enable the family model to succeed and thereby create a healthy and happy environment promoting long <br />term successful placements, , <br /> <br />Goai: Provide Therapeutic Child Care Services to Foster and Kinship Families of at-risk children <br />Task/Action <br />a) Develop a curriculum with a school readiness focus <br />b) Address behavior modification needs through individual child service plans <br />c) Enroll 30 to 40 children in the Therapeutic Day Care Program <br />d) Hire four (4) Therapeutic Day Care Teachers <br /> <br />Provide an assessment tool to aid in recommendations to mainstream education programs. <br />a) Provide developmental profiles for 100% of the children enrolled in the Therapeutic Day Care <br />Program, <br />b) Assemble an assessment team consisting of the Clinical Director, the Therapeutic Day Care <br />Administrator, the Specialized Child Care Staff and the County Social Worker to review the <br />service plan for each individual child, <br /> <br />Increase family self sufficiency through education. <br />a) Each family will be given a proposed plan of services for their child/children <br />b) Each family will participate in child/parent interaction activities <br />c) Support groups will be developed for Kinship and Foster parents which emphasize the <br />concerns of their unique family situations <br /> <br />Provide afternoon art and enrichment activities for pre-school age children and their siblings that <br />contribute to an increased level of self-esteem <br />a) Hire Santa Ana Artists to participate in contracted sessions involving all mediums including <br />performing arts <br />b) Develop a children's gallery as a showplace for the children to display their projects <br />c) Provide each parent with a schedule of art/recreation and sports activities geared specifically <br />towards their child's developmental goals. <br />d) Educate and train community volunteers to work with at-risk children <br /> <br />Pegef <br />[x{,;.~,j.
