Walkways <br />Main entry walkways that are compatible with the materials found on the residence contribute to <br />the overall design of a residence. The materials listed below are appropriate residential <br />walkways: <br />• Brick <br />• Natural gray concrete — wash finish to expose fine aggregates <br />• Stone — random or in cut patterns <br />• Cobble — gray granite or river rock <br />• Decomposed granite <br />• Poured -in-place or pre -cast natural grey concrete stepping stones <br />• Painted concrete <br />The following methods are not recommended when repairing or pouring new walkways: <br />• Repairing cracked concrete with a non-matching material or color. <br />• Pouring entry walkways wider than four -feet. <br />51 <br />Resolution No. 2006-022 <br />Page 57 of 71 <br />
