<br />Attachment C <br /> <br />Fiscal Year 2005 Authorized Equipment List <br /> <br />The 2005 Authorized Equipment List (AEL) provides information on allowable equipment <br />expenditures for the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP), the Law Enforcement Terrorism <br />Prevention Program (LETPP), the Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS), the <br />Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG), and the Citizens Corps Program. Each <br />item in the AEL is marked for applicability to appTopriate programs. Where applicahle, the <br />AEL also provides reference to corresponding items in the 2004 Standardized Equipment List <br />(SEL) published by the InterAgency BoaTd for Equipment Standardization and Interoperability. <br />SEL items are published with additional information such as desirable features, operating <br />considerations, and references to standards. Applicants are encouraged to consult the SEL for <br />more detailed information whenever an SEt reference is provided. Note that in some cases, a <br />single AEL item may incorporate multiple SEL items. FOT example, the AEL lists the NFPA <br />1994 Class] Ensemhle as an allowable item. The SEL provides additional detail, listing 14 <br />specific required and optional components, In these cases, a note will be included under the <br />SEL RefeTence NumbeT to specify exactly which items are included. <br /> <br />Complete interactive versions of both the AEL and SEL are available on-line in the Responder <br />Knowledge Base (RKB) at www.rkh.mipt.oTg. Hard copies of the SEL may be requested at <br />www.iab.gov.
