No Impact <br />The project site is currently vacant. The development of the <br />proposed project would not displace existing households or <br />create need for the construction of substantial amounts of new <br />housing. The proposed project does not include any major roadway <br />or infrastructure improvements that would indirectly facilitate <br />growth within the project area. <br />X222. PUBLIC SERVICES <br />Fire Protection: Less than Significant Impact <br />The City of Santa Ana Fire Department would provide fire <br />protection and emergency services to the project area. The City <br />maintains ten fire stations throughout the City. The fire <br />stations are situated where no location in the City is outside <br />of an approximate 1.5 radius of a fire station. Additionally, <br />the City maintains a Mutual Aid Agreement for fire protection <br />services with the neighboring Cities of Fountain Valley, Garden <br />Grove, Tustin, Irvine and Costa Mesa. According to the City of <br />Santa Ana Insurance Service Organization, the City has a low <br />fire risk rating. <br />According to the Santa Ana Fire Department, the goal of the fire <br />department is to have an onsite response time of 5:00 or less <br />80~ of the time. Fire Station No. 2 located at 1668 E. 4th Street <br />is the closest fire station to the project site. Presently, a <br />shift at Fire Station No. 2 consists of four fire fighters, 1 <br />fire engine and 1 paramedic van. <br />The proposed project would not substantially increase the demand <br />for fire protection and emergency services within the project <br />area. According to the Santa Ana Fire Department under existing <br />levels of manpower and equipment, it does not anticipate any <br />significant constraints in providing adequate fire protection <br />services to the proposed project. <br />Police Protection: Lesa Than Significant impact <br />The Santa Ana Police Department would provide police protection <br />services for the proposed project. The Police Department is <br />headquartered at 60 Civic Center Plaza. <br />The City of Santa Ana is subdivided into four policing <br />districts, with each district serving a section of the City. <br />The proposed project is located within the Westend District.
