NEW COUNCIL ORIENTATION <br /> <br />Public Works Agency Executive Director Jim Ross introduced key members of the Public <br />Works staff, presented a slide show demonstrating the major responsibilities of the Agency, <br />and related these responsibilities to the City's overall goals. <br /> <br />6:50 P.M. - Councilmember Moreno left the meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Mills requested the location of the route for the proposed Central Orange <br />County Fixed Guideway in Santa Ana be scheduled for discussion at a future Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Executive Director Ross highlighted several Public Works construction projects and oriented <br />the Council concerning two major December 7, 1992 Council Agenda matters: the street <br />rehabilitation projects under the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act (ISTEA) <br />and the proposed Great Western Reclamation contract for refuse collection, recycling, and <br />disposal. <br /> <br />Public Works Agency staff members responded to Councilmembers' questions concerning <br />operations in their respective areas. <br /> <br />ADJOURNED - 8:00 P.M. - To 5:30p. m. on November 30, 1992 in the Conference Room <br /> of the Santa Ana Library, 26 Civic Center Plaza <br /> <br />Clerk of the Council <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 359 NOVEMBER 24, 1992 <br /> <br /> <br />
