<br />'-" <br /> <br />""'" <br /> <br />VI. <br /> <br />GOALS AND OBJECTIVESI <br />IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY <br /> <br />In the space below, please list the primary goals and objectives for your program. Provide <br />projected numbers of Santa Ana residents to be served, and the kinds of services they would <br />receive if your program is funded. Also describe the specific actions and tasks that would be <br />performed on a day-to-day basis to achieve these goals. <br /> <br />See Appendix A for examples. <br /> <br />Goal: to promote Mexican Folklorico dances in their original form and to participate at more of <br />the city's cultural events. <br /> <br />Objectives <br />1. Continued enrollment of ,.. 30 students in the folklorico program at Santa Ana High <br />School. <br /> <br />Task/Action: <br />A) Recruitment at the neighboring junior schools, such as Willard, Sierra, Lathrop, Mendez and <br />-Villa. <br />B)Presentations to the P.TA's student body of these junior high schools and community events <br />such as Neighborhood associations (Wilshire) <br /> <br />2. Provide extra hours of after school folklorico lessons at Santa Ana High School on Fridays <br />and Saturdays. <br />A)Continue to build and increase the number of participants and maintain our strong <br />folklorico program. <br />B)Provide to our youth the artistic and educational understanding of the basics of each <br />original dance from each state of Mexico. <br /> <br />3.
