PROPOSED PROCESS FOR CONTRACTING OUT CITY SERVICES <br />(SOLORIO) <br />Motion: Direct the City Manager to develop a process whenever the City proposes <br />to contract out work that results in City employees being laid off. <br />Also, include another item in the list of process recommendations: <br />"Additionally, the City Manager is directed to develop a Joint Labor <br />Management Committee (JLM) to audit and prepare reports to the City <br />Council regarding services that have been contracted out since 2000.
