Charter Section 401. <br />Yes <br />No <br /> <br />Shall the board/commission appointment provisions oCthe Santa Ana Charter be amended to: formalize the <br />practice of council members nominating candidates to seats tied to council wards; permit the mayor to nominate a <br />city-wide seat with 2-year term; require at least 50% of the persons nominated by a councilmember be residents <br />ofhisJher ward; and, prohibit termed-out councilmembers from being immediately appointed to boards and <br />commissions?
