<br />INSURANCE NOT ON FILE <br />VI'ORK MAY NQI PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATE: 7.('1.06 . <br />0: C01"C(.t.)(C.~~E5pl'flUq) <br /> <br />N-2006-053-01 <br /> <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into on July 12. <br />2006. by and between Sally Low & Associates, Inc., a California corporation <br />("Consultant") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br />State of California ("City"). <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement N-2006-053. dated July 6, 2006, (hereinafter <br />"said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided doeument translation services. <br /> <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />amend the Scope of Services and Compensation provisions of said Agreement to <br />provide for additional services. <br /> <br />WlIEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and <br />subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this <br />First Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />I. Section I. SCOPE OF SERVICES. shall he deleted in its entirety and replaced with <br />the following: <br /> <br />"Consultant shall translate the City's Notice of Election and Argument Guidelines. <br />attached Berete to said Agreement as Exhibits A-I and A-2, respectively, amI Text of <br />Measures,attached hercto as Exhibit 3. into Chinese, Korean. Spanish and <br />Vietnamese. City may request additional services, in writing, which will be provided <br />on the terms and conditions set forth herein." <br /> <br />2. Section 2. COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase compensation by <br />$8.000.00 for a total not to exceed amount of$IO,OOO.OO during the term of said <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />3. Except as herein amended. all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br />
