<br />City of Santa Ana <br />Community Development Block Grant <br />Scope of Work <br />Name of Organization- Rebuilding Together Orange County <br />Name of Funded Program- Safe at Home 2006-2007 <br />Annual Accomplishment Goal <br />I. Total number of un duplicated clients (Santa Ana and Non-Santa Ana Residents) anticipated to be served by <br />the funded program, named above, during the 12-month contract period. <br />200 PERSONS <br /> <br />II. Number of only unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program, named above, <br />during the 12-month contract period. <br />26PERSONS <br /> <br />Program and Funding Description <br />III. Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12-month <br />contract period. <br />"Safe at Home 2006-2007" Program: Rehabilitate up to 26 single family, owner-occupied "High Priority Needs Level" homes of <br />low-income families, the elderly and disabled in Santa Ana. Rebuilding Together's "neighbor helping Neighbor" approach <br />demonstrates how public funds, along with donated building materials, skilled and volunteer labor results in a combined leverage of <br />as much as 4: I in value to address affordable housing needs. <br /> <br />Objectives: I) Identify low-income and disabled homeowners needing assistange. 2) Provide services to qualified homeowners. 3) <br />Continue program development to maintain year 'round activity. <br /> <br />Goals: Improve safety and comfort of low-income homeowners to meet or exceed HUD housing quality standards. <br /> <br />IV. Activities funded by this grant - How will CDBG funds be used for the funded program? Narratively <br />describe the budget for the funded program illustrated in Exhibit B and B-1. <br />Administrative and Program Staff Salaries and Benefits: Project Management Management structure includes the Executive Director <br />(ED) who is responsible for overall Countywide project(s) oversight and development including fundraising, logistics, material and <br />skilled labor resources and volunteer recruitment and training. Office Manager handles all aspects of recipient applications and <br />manages financial transactions and quarterly reporting. Volunteer and Project Coordinators take responsibility for household <br />specific goals. <br /> <br />Program SupplieslMaterials and Contract-Professional Services comprise the majority of costs associated with $26,000 direct CDBG <br />funding at $19,550. <br /> <br />Volunteer Support of $1,250 is included in requested budget. <br /> <br />Exhibit A <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
