Description of Outcome Tracking System: <br />Please describe your organization's outcome tracking system that will enable you to fulfill the outcome selected above. <br />The Orange County Bar Foundation's outcome tracking system that will enable us to fulfill the outcomes is as follows: <br />To effect a statistically significant reduction in drug/alcohol use and prevention of substance abuse among Latino youth participants <br />Based on baseline, program exit, and 6-month follow-up. <br />^ Results of drug testing <br />^ Client self-reports (written & verbal) <br />^ Parent self-reports (written & verbal) <br />^ # of referrals to 12-step meetings, # of referrals to intensive drug treatment, Client follow-up surveys <br />To effect a statistically significant reduction in emotional and behavioral problems among Latino participants, youth and families <br />Based on baseline, program exit, and 6-month follow-up. <br />^ Client self-reports (written & verbal) <br />^ Parent self-reports (written & verbal) <br />^ # of grade/behavioral school reports <br />^ # of referrals for additional counseling (ex. anger management) <br />^ Client follow-up surveys <br />To improve family functioning and reduce family stress among Latino participants, youth and families <br />Based on baseline, program exit, and 6-month follow-up. <br />^ Client self-reports (written & verbal) <br />C' Parent self-reports (written & verbal) <br />C # of referrals to outside agencies <br />To reduce criminal involvement among participating Latino youth <br />^ Results of drug testing, Client self-reports (written & verbal), Parent self-reports (written & verbal), Reports from police <br />department <br />Increase in legal knowledge among Latino participants, youth and families <br />Based on baseline, program exit, and 6-month follow-up. <br />^ # of encounters <br />^ # of referrals to appropriate services <br />^ Legal Education Survey (for pre and post-test) <br />Exhibit A-1 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
