COST CONSULTANT Steve has twenty-six years experience providing Construction Management, Project Management and Pre. construction Services in the public and private sectors for both general contractors and sub -contractors. Steve estimates all disciplines including architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil and structural. Throughout his career he has successfully managed critical issues of time, cost and quality in order to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. Steve is a State of California licensed Contractor. He is extremely knowledgeable with all construction type; including steel frame, concrete frame, concrete tilt -up and wood frame construction. His skills are particularly strong in the areas of analyzing and negotiating change orders. Steve estimated an impressive list of projects in master planning phases, providing feasibility studies, cost comparisons and master scheduling. He is familiar with the requirements of the California Department of Education (CDE) and the Department of the State Architect (DSA), as they pertain to cost estimating. Task: The Cost Consultant will provide a Schematic Design Cost Estimate and update that estimate at the 90% Construction Level. Steve DeWulf will be directly responsible to Don Gillis throughout the project for cost estimation at the various stages of the project.
