In the public ector, he has met with concerned <br />citizen and spst groups to evaluate public priorities, well as local government groups to <br />establish munct goals and direction. In the private ctor, he has worked closely with both <br />developers anto establish project programs and to arry them out successfully from the early <br />design stages finished product. <br />Mr. Kobzeff is experienced t the governmental, conAercial, industrial, institutional, recreational and <br />residential markets in south e California, northe California, Arizona, Texas and Colorado. His <br />expertise in slope plantings coin from desi and managing numerous slope -related projects. In <br />2001, Mr. Kobzeff accepted the ro of Landsc a Operations Manager for the landscape department of <br />one of the largest architectural firms ' Oran County, where he effectively operationally reorganized <br />the department. <br />Believing in staying close to the scho Nsion <br />nity, Mr. Kobzeff has been a guest lecturer and <br />instructor in the Landscape Architec al t the University of California, Los Angeles, and the <br />Horticultural Department of Orang oastosta Mesa, California. He was also an instructor in <br />the Extension Program at the U ' ersity o, Irvine, where he taught "Grading and Drainage", <br />and "Landscape Construction rawing". o an active member of the UCI Extension Faculty <br />Advisory Board. Mr. Kob was invitedas a panel member for contractor education at the <br />1989 Landscape Industry ow at the Longn ntion Center. <br />Mr. Kobzeff is an ac ' e member of the American Societyqf Landscape Architects. At California State <br />Polytechnic Univ sity, Pomona, he received the Ame 'can Institute of Landscape Architects' <br />"Outstanding S ent" award in 1972. Mr. Kobzeff also has a ' etime Limited Service Credential in the <br />field of OM ntal Horticulture from the California Communi Colleges. He also is the Landscape <br />Architect of cord for new development at several colleges within e Southern California area. <br />Keeping 0 with industry changes, Mr. Kobzeff has Certificates of chievement for short courses in <br />Horticul)6re from the University of California Cooperative Extension, d Advanced Irrigation Seminars <br />from TORO Company. <br />Mr. Kobzeff was asked to be a member of the Anaheim Beautiful Committe as a judge in their annual <br />de gn awards program in 1987. He also served as a regular lecturer to the tional Council of State <br />den Clubs, Pacific Region, California Garden Clubs, Orange County Distri He has received a <br />ommendation for Outstanding Cooperation with the Garden Clubs of Orange Co ty District. Several <br />of his projects have earned design Certificates of Merit from the California Park and creation Society's <br />Environmental Planning and Recreation Program Awards for the City of Anaheim. He as been runner- <br />up in both MAME and SAM awards for his work on tract housing. <br />Mr. Kobzeff will be in charge of projects located mainly within the Orange, San Diego ak Riverside <br />County areas. Mr. Kobzeff received his Bachelor of Science degree ,from school of Environmental <br />Design at California Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1973. <br />
