Two <br />copies are made of all invoices; one for our permanent records the other for the CPA <br /> <br />Recent Audit: <br /> <br />The Orange County Youth Commission has c.P.A. that ensures we maintain professional <br />bookkeeping standards. We have been audited by the City of Santa Ana. They found that <br />our "system for accounting conforms to the federal requirements ofOMB Circular A-110 <br />(i.e., regular financial statements, adequate identification and application ofCDBG funds, <br />a chart of accounts with accrual accounting reporting capability)" This report also states <br />that our "program procedures, currently in place, are adequate for the operations of the <br />program." In addition, in review of our record keeping procedures for documentation of <br />clients served, they found that "sufficient information is being gathered to report on <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development required statistics." <br /> <br />Level of Reliance on WIA: <br /> <br />The WIA Grant serves to galvanize us to state a academic tutoring component to our <br />after-school boxing club. The funds from this grant will be used for project direction and <br />administration, teaching/tutoring, recruitment, case management, boxing club <br />transportation to tournaments, office supplies and rent etc... However, we are not relying <br />solely upon these funds for our existence. OCYC Boxing Club has been awarded a <br />CDBG grant of$8,000 for 2006 to 2007. In addition, Tax Title Services, Inc. has <br />committed to $30,000.00 for 2006 to 2007. Moreover, we have several other committed <br />donors to the boxing club, alone, that approximate to over $lO,OOO.OO since January <br />2006. <br /> <br />II <br />
