PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan requested the Council meeting be adjourned in memory of Jim <br />Tucker, former Human Relations Commissioner and Uniform Code Appeals Board member, and <br />Charlene Hunter, retired City Payroll Manager, who both passed away recently. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lutz: <br /> <br />announced a new art exhibit was opening at the Santora Building on December 6, 1997; <br /> <br />reported the Very Special Arts california Gallery in Santa Ana MainPlace will open a <br />National Institute of Art and Disabilities exhibit of works by disabled and handicapped <br />artists this weekend; <br /> <br />announced that Judy Edge and Friends of Carver Concerned Parents were holding a <br />community Christmas tree decorating event at Flower Street Park (3rd and Flower) on <br />December 7, 1997 at 1:00 p.m.; <br /> <br />asked staffto assist Paragon Sports, a Santa Ana-based company which recently landed a <br />major contract, locate a larger facility for its business expansion; <br /> <br />announced the Santa Ana Historical Society was holding a "Historical Homes Tour" fund <br />raiser on December 6, 1997; and <br /> <br />commended Ivana and Oldrich Unger on their Washington Square residence's garden <br />which was featured in a local newspaper's Home & Garden section. <br /> <br />Councilmember Franklin: <br /> <br />thanked the Floral Park Neighborhood Association for its $500 girl to the Santa Ana <br />Kiwanis Scholarship Fund; <br /> <br />related St. Edna's Sub-acute & Rehabilitation Center recently held its 3ra Annual Fall <br />International Festival at its 1929 N.
