An acquisition agreement with Cilliani Trust to acquire a <br />portion of the property located at 420 S. Bristol Street <br />for $347,500. <br />2. A relocation agreement with Popular Medical Clinic and <br />Popular Pharmacy for $214,000. <br />3. A loss of goodwill agreement with Popular Medical Clinic <br />for $75,000. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On March 6, 2006 the City Council approved the cooperative agreement <br />between the City and the Orange County Transportation Authority to <br />fund Bristol Street improvements from McFadden Avenue and Pine <br />Street. <br />Improvements include widening of the street from four lanes to six, <br />construction of landscaping in the parkways and the median islands, <br />traffic improvements, drainage structures, sound walls, and other <br />amenities as outlines in the Specific Plan. <br />To accommodate the widening, it is necessary to acquire a portion of <br />the Cilliani property, located at 420 S. Bristol Street, including <br />the building occupied by Popular Medical Clinic and Popular Pharmacy <br />(Exhibit 1). Public Works has been negotiating with the medical <br />clinic and the pharmacy for the past several months. Both the <br />property owner and the tenant expressed desire to rebuild a new <br />25D-1 <br />
