LORRIE BOLDRICK <br />TO PROVIDE VETERINARY SERVICES FOR <br />THE SANTA ANA ZOO AT PRENTICE PARK <br />~~ ~ t~ <br />CITY MANAGER <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />^ As Recommended <br />^ As Amended <br />^ Ordinance on 15~ Reading <br />^ Ordinance on 2"d Reading <br />^ Implementing Resolution <br />^ Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and <br />Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with Dr. Lorrie Boldrick, <br />DBA Quillie Acres, to provide veterinary services for the Santa Ana Zoo <br />at Prentice Park for a period of one year in an amount not to exceed <br />$68,000. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park is required by the United States <br />Department of Agriculture to provide veterinary services for the <br />collection of animals maintained at the Zoo. Dr. Boldrick will provide a <br />comprehensive program of preventative and curative medical care for the <br />entire Zoo collection, including the exotic animals.
