SANTIAGO
UBRAP,Y sysrEm
c/o SCLC 222 E. Harvard St., Glendale, CA 91205
(626) 283-5949 • Fax (626) 283-5949
January 21, 2025
Santa Ana Public Library
26 Civic Center Plaza
Santa Ana, CA 92701
Dear Brian Sternberg:
As a member of the Santiago Library System, Santa Ana Public Library receives funding from the California
State Library's California Library Services Act (CLSA) for its cooperative efforts. A discussion took place at a
previous system meeting informing members that they would receive two fiscal years' worth of CLSA checks in
one year. This is an attempt by staff to ensure that, moving forward, members will receive CLSA checks for
that current fiscal year. At the beginning of this fiscal year, Santa Ana Public Library received CLSA funding for
fiscal year 2023/24.
At this time, staff is in the process of issuing CLSA funding for fiscal year 2024/25. This check, issued in the
amount of $8,080.36 using Chase BillPay, is expected to be delivered by January 28, 2025. Per previous
correspondence, Santa Ana Public Library indicated that this funding would be applied to Overdrive. Please
apply the funds to Overdrive as previously indicated.
Please reach out to Andy Beck, Controller for the Santiago Library System, at abeck(a)socallibraries_ora or
(626) 427-3417 should you have any questions.
Thank you,
Christine Powers
Executive Director
Santiago Library System
