CONSENT CALENDAR <br />BUDGETARY MATTERS <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS <br />20.A. ACCEPTING ENGLISH LANGUAGE LITERACY INTENSIVE GRANT <br />FROM CALIFORNIA STATE LIBRARY <br />Motion: 1. Authorize the acceptance of the California State Library for <br />English Language Literacy Intensive grant award in the amount of <br />$60,000.00 <br />2. Approve appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative <br />votes) <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 02-138 - Recognizing <br />$30,000.00 in the Library Grants Fund and appropriate the funds to the <br />expenditure account <br />3. Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and Clerk of the Council to execute agreement. <br />AGMT NO. 2002-015 - With the Santa Ana Unified School District <br />under this California State Library grant in the amount of $60,000.00 to <br />provide literacy services to Madison Elementary School Students <br />GRANTS / APPLICATIONS <br />21.A. APPLY FOR THE URBAN STREAMS RESTORATION GRANT FOR <br />SANTIAGO CREEK <br />Motion: Adopt resolution. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-009 - A resolution of the City Council of the City <br />of Santa Ana approving submittal of an application for grant funds from the <br />State of California Department of Water Resources under the Costa - <br />Machado Water Bond Act of 2000 for Phase II of the creek restoration in <br />lower Santiago Park <br />SPECIFICATIONS - PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES <br />Motion: Award in accordance with Requests for Council Action.
