WORK STUDY SESSION <br />In the course of the budget presentation, Councilmembers raised the <br />following "Issue Bin" items that require more detail to be provided at a <br />later date: <br />• New Horizon - project status on La Verne and Elder Streets <br />• Central City Neighborhood <br />• Synchronize signals on South Main Street with the upcoming capital <br />improvement projects <br />• Madison Park Neighborhood Association (formerly known as South <br />East Neighborhood) prioritization of improvement projects <br />• Impact of not establishing a Residential Permit Parking fee <br />• Status of paramedic service fee collection efforts, report on percent <br />paid by insurance carriers, and number of subscribers and marketing <br />efforts for new residents <br />• Use of zoo admission increase to market the Zoo <br />• Impacts of last year's loss of $12 million <br />• What are costs savings for police department reclassification changes <br />in the benefit package <br />• How many spaces left for planting new trees?
