Only the <br />viewable space will print. <br />Paint Day Santa Ana, on , will paint, restore and refurbish 20 homes in Santa Ana, which are owned by <br />Iow- to-moderate income homeowners, with preference given to seniors and the disabled, at no cost to the <br />homeowner. The home restoration work will be completed by community volunteers. <br /> <br />City of Santa A.na <br />Scope of Work <br />PAINT YOUR HEART OUT, INC. (PYHO) <br />PAINT DAY SANTA ANA <br /> <br />Specific activities to be undertaken during the contract period to successfully execute Paint Day Santa Ana include: 1) <br />Screening applicants on the waiting list. 2) Outreach to the target neighborhoods for additional applicants. 3) Meeting <br />with community leadership to accomplish project goals. 4) Recruiting additional members for committees and the <br />board of directors. 5) Training project volunteeers. 6) Securing resources to perform repairs, prep work and painting. <br />7) Assessing all selected homes and creating work plans for each. 8) Completing the prep and painting of 20 homes. <br />9) Recognizing volunteers and sponsors. <br /> <br />Santa Ana residents will receive home restoration services for 'Prep" and "Paint Day" that may include: 1) repairs <br />around the house, 2) replacing broken windows & locks, 3) landscaping/tree trimming, 4) driveway resurfacing, 5) <br />garage door replacement/repairs, 6) stucco repair and wood replacement, 7) energy audits, 8) smoke detector <br />checks, 9) lead paint abatement,10) prepping and exterior painting, 11) waste removal,12) fence repair, 13) other <br />needed repairs as discovered <br /> <br />All of the services, together, help to restore each home while countering neighborhood blight. Completed repairs will <br />average $7,000 per house and will denote approximately $140,000 in Santa Ana community improvements. <br /> <br />Schedule of Performace <br />Estimate the number of ONLY unduplicated Santa Ana households to be served by the funded program during the 12- <br />month contract period per quarter.
