Check main lugs and connections with precision torque wrench (customer option <br />since this must be done on a de-energized circuit). <br /> <br />7. Check and record load balance. <br /> <br />8. Check and record remaining power availability. <br /> <br />9. Replace air filters (filter equipped unit only). <br /> <br />10. Clean safely accessible cabinet interior. <br /> <br />11. Provide quarterly report/recommendation to user and remedial repair/replacement <br />cost estimate. <br /> <br />12. In conjunction with the PM on the PDU, the grounding and noice-suppresion <br />subsystem of the electrical system will be checked and verified. <br /> <br />Part III. Infrared thermography inspection will be carried out while the electrical system is <br />under load of, but not limited to, the switchgear, circuit breaker panels, connectors, <br />insulators, switches, bushings, buses, etc. These will be checked for excessive <br />temperatures, thus indicating potential problems. <br /> <br />The following procedure will be followed (unless modified by prior agreement of the City): <br /> <br />1. The thermo graphic inspection will be performed while the system is under load. <br /> <br />2. Load testing should be performed if possible. <br /> <br />3. At a minimum, the following electrical equipment should be opened and inspected: <br /> <br />a. UPS input switchboard <br />b. UPS module <br />c. Battery System (under load) <br /> <br />d. UPS output switchgear <br />e. Distribution panelboards <br />f. Power distribution units <br /> <br />4. Scan all electrical terminations, bus splices and electrical connections. <br /> <br />5. If an object appears to be hotter than maximum for the particular range, then <br />photograph/s will be taken. <br /> <br />6. Prepare a report for all test termination - stating the degree of temperature rise <br />and a recommended corrective action. <br /> <br />Page 14 of 25 <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A 7 <br />
