_UNITED- <br />INSPECTION <br />~& TESTINGINC. ~ <br />PROPOSED STAFF <br />United's proposed staff will include inspectors with varying responsibilities and capabilities. Our <br />project manager assigned to this contract will be Mr. James Parker, P.E. <br />As Project Manager, he is the senior United staff member responsible for the administration and <br />control of the QA/QC activities for this contract. His duties and responsibilities include, but are not <br />necessarily limited to: <br />(1) Coordination and communication with the City's Representative and its <br />Consultants regarding progress, and to ensure that tests and inspections <br />are being performed as required by the plans and specifications. <br />(2) Review and maintenance of required United personnel records for the <br />project. <br />(3) Review and verification of United accounting and billing procedures for <br />accuracy.and completeness. <br />(4) Supervision of the establishment and maintenance of the permanent <br />project QA/QC documentation files. <br />(5) Preparation of periodic project QA/QC summary reports. <br />Fundamental to United's .business philosophy is the concept of functioning in unison with the <br />project team. First and foremost, United strives to be consistent. Once an individual has been <br />on a project and familiarized himself with it, he will typically finish it. .That commitment to the <br />client is the best way to ~ guarantee they receive consistent quality assurance feedback <br />throughout their job. <br />United's proposed inspectors will have various responsibilities depending on the project at <br />hand. In general, they will provide soil compaction testing, asphalt concrete, concrete, <br />masonry, reinforcing steel and structural steel/welding inspection. Additionally, they will provide <br />material sampling as required by the project plans and specifications. Samples will then be <br />taken to United's laboratory for testing. The following is our list of proposed inspectors for this <br />contract: <br />James Parker, PE Chad Bartley <br />Thomas Watts David Hawkins <br />Fernando Guerra Mark Johnson <br />Thomas Doolittle Todd Rutledge <br />Resumes for these inspectors have been included in this section. Copies of our inspectors' <br />Caltrans Certifications will be submitted to the office of the Construction Engineer upon award <br />of contract. <br />25K-41 <br />
