PROPOSAL FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT <br />FOR THE SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY FACILITIES <br />REDEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />ESTIMATED COSTS <br />The cost for the preparation of the School and Community Facilities <br />Redevelopment Plan EIR, including all services identified in Section 2 of <br />this proposal, is $42,685.00. The breakdown of cost by task and staff is <br />provided below. A generalized land use survey and the traffic study are <br />provided as optional items. If the City decides on the land use survey, it <br />will add $20,000.00 to the total cost. The traffic study will cost $15,000. <br />These costs are tentative and can be adjusted during contract negotiations. <br />The direct costs below are estimated. They will range from $8,000 to <br />$10,000, and will be billed as they are incurred. Direct costs include report <br />reproduction, mailing, mileage and other outside costs. Because increases <br />in direct costs are outside DEA's control, we could only estimate them at <br />this time. DEA will bill the City of Santa Ana directly for all outside costs <br />and invoices can be provided upon request. The City could reduce the <br />direct costs by reducing the number of document copies required. It may <br />also choose to do report reproduction in house or contract with a local <br />copying company.
