If a unit is equipped with an MDT, then it should <br />be given the status of Dispatched and allow for the officer in the unit to press his Enroute button <br />to indicate he has received the call and is responding. However, if a unit does not have an <br />MDT (and therefore does not have an Enroute button to press), then that unit should be given <br />the status of Enroute automatically. <br /> <br />Comment: Development activity will be added to the road map but will not gate system <br />acceptance by SAPO. Estimated availability: 12 - 15 months post-cutover. <br /> <br />9) Entry of Prior Knowledge from Mobile <br /> <br />The system will allow field units to have the ability to enter Prior Knowledge records from their <br />MDT's. This function should be simple to execute, using the unit's current event to provide the <br />location. <br /> <br />Comment: Development of this item is not planned. Positron will continue to evaluate options <br />and alternatives to accommodate this functionality request, but will not gate system acceptance <br />by SAPO. <br /> <br />10) Auto-Populating Vehicle Form Fields from Query Return (CAD-4572) <br />The system will automatically fill in as many fields as possible of the vehicle tab of the event <br />form from data received from the query return of the state registration query. This will include <br />fields such as make, body style, and VIN. <br /> <br />Comment: Development activity will be added to the road map but will not gate system <br />acceptance by SAPO.
