SECTION II
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS -COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH

3.0 INTRODUCTION

This section identifies the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Requirements.

3.1 System Components: Any proposer wishing to participate in the process must be capable of
demonstrating their proposed system in a live environment. The components of the System being sought
through this Request For Proposal (RFP) include:

Automated Interfaces between the CAD system and:

· E9-1-1 System
· Mapping
NCIC/CLETS/DMV, etc.

The CAD solution must be a true Graphical User Interface 32-bit, native Microsoft Windows 2000 or
newer application. A system that is merely compatible with the 32-bit Windows 2000 Operating System,
or operates only in character mode, is not acceptable.

Positron Response: IQ/CAD Complies

The IQ/CAD application utilizes the latest technology by employing object oriented
programming combined with the reliability of the Windows@ XP-SP2 operating system and true
32-bit GUI. This open architecture design provides the most reliable, multi-tasking environment
available today, combining the features of an industry standard relational database with the
power of a graphical user environment.

3.2 System Requirements:

· Full Dispatch I.
