5.1.6 Event Processing: During and after the call taker enters Call For Service information into the CAD,
several processes must occur. The following subsections describe those processes.

5.1.7 Location Verification: The proposer shall describe in detail the function and capabilities of the
proposed geographical database. Of particular importance are the facilities and services provided by the
proposer in the initial loading and subsequent maintenance of the geographic database.

1.Geofile database should include the following data elements, at a minimum:
a. Address: Building/House Numbers Street Name
b. High/Low Address Range
c. Odd/Even Grid
d. Common Place Names
e. Cross Streets/Intersections
f. Geographic Areas: Police Reporting Districts/Grids, GPS coordinates (if applicable)

Positron Response: IQ/CAD Complies

ESRI Mapping technologies are embedded in our applications. Our systems take full advantage of
graphic display technology for integrating maps, buildings, floor plans, images, and SDE
integration. Map administration is designed to be simple without complex map conversion
requiring support from a large technical staff. IPC Command Systems is an authorized ESRI
Development Partner.

2. The geofile must be able to support a different geographic breakdown based on shift, day of week or
time of day.

Positron Response: IQ/CAD Complies

Q/CAD is able to handle various geographic breakdowns to support operations in complex
dispatching environments. At such shift, day of week, time of day can be accommodated.

3. Other Location Verification processes that must be performed by the CAD are:

a. Retrieve associated information based on the verified street address
b. Retrieve associated information based on verified intersections
c. Verify commonplace name locations
d. Automatically attempt to verify the location of all events

Positron Response: IQ/CAD Complies

4. When a partial location is entered, the system shall display possible matches.

I Positron Response: IQ/CAD Complies

CHANGE ORDER #2 to Computer Aided Dispatch Purchase Agreement A-2004-229
EXHIBIT G-1 IQ/CAD System Updated Response Criteria

~
