The first study concluded that there was a 3000 return on <br />investment for Santa Ana and the second study showed a 4730 return on <br />investment. Both studies are posted on the WIB's web site: <br />www.santaanawib.com <br />The Request for Proposal was developed and released on October 16, 2007. <br />A public notice was published in the Orange County Register on October <br />14 & 15, 2007. The RFP was emailed to eleven interested parties. <br />Proposals were due November 13, 2007, and one proposal was submitted by <br />California State University Fullerton (CSUF). The members of the <br />Oversight and Data Committee rated this proposal well above the required <br />70o threshold with an average score of 89.5 points (89.50). The <br />Oversight and Data Committee recommended accepting the proposal from <br />CSUF, Social Science Research Center, at its regular meeting on December <br />7, 2007, and recommended funding for an amount not to exceed $20,000. <br />The contract was prepared by the City Attorney's Office. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are available in the Workforce Investment Act WIB Admin 07-08 <br />account (account no. 123-190-6291). <br />ephen G.
