Clerk ('-) <br />R~+a C~lao- do <br />SECOND AMENDMENT TO <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />N-2008-075 <br />THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered <br />into on June 25, 2008 by and between Cesar Vargas and the City of Santa Ana, a charter <br />city and municipal corporation ofthe State of California ("City"). <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement #N-2005-123, dated October 17, 2005, <br />(hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided <br />translation interpretation services <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />extend the term of said agreement to provide continuous, uninterrupted service. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and <br />subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this <br />Second Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Compensation shall be amended to increase compensation by $25,000, to pay far <br />services during the 2008-09 fiscal year. <br />2. The Term of said Agreement shall be extended for an additional one-year period, <br />through June 30, 2009. <br />3. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Second Amendment to <br />Consultant Agreement on the date and year first written above. <br />ATTEST: <br />V <br />SPA T RICIA E.
