Agreement with Bucknam & Associates <br />for Pavement Management Consultant Services <br />August 18, 2008 <br />Page 2 <br />Qualified firms were contacted and three firms submitted proposals <br />responsive to the RFP. These proposals were evaluated by a review <br />committee from the Public Works Agency to compare the quality of <br />personnel, client satisfaction and rate schedules. The following is an <br />average of the final scores: <br />FIRM RATING <br />1. Bucknam & Associates 83 <br />2. Vanderhawk 78 <br />3. MACTEC 71 <br />Based on their rating, staff recommends the firm of Bucknam & Associates <br />be retained for the required services in the not-to-exceed amount of <br />$100,000. <br />ENVIRONMLSNTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds to pay for the pavement management services will be charged to the <br />Pavement Management Account No. 032-551-6631. <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />~~ <br />1 James G.
