The printed citation <br />will be configured to meet the agency's required format and layout. <br />Touch Screen Technology — Custom drop down lists and software keyboards can be <br />used to input the data into the parking citation program utilizing touch screen <br />technology. This often increases the speed of the citation process. <br />Camera Technology (Selected models) — High - resolution cameras automatically <br />attached to the citation upon syncing. Easily retrieved and printed. <br />Backup /Restore Features: Built in backup /restore utilities allow for application and <br />data backup and restore capability. <br />Software Keyboard <br />The Parking Citation System can also utilize the software "on- screen" keyboard for <br />input, which may be easier for first time device users. <br />Citation Writer Display — Full color touch screen makes it very easy on the user's <br />eyes. The devices provide complete control of the variable back lighting system and <br />the brightness of the display. The Citation Writers all have a real time clock that <br />displays - Time in Hours /Minutes /Seconds. Date in Day /MonthNear. To input a <br />citation the user will follow the menu selection and optional choices, such as a street <br />sweeping program to issue Citations quickly when data is commonly repeated. <br />Audible Alarm - The devices have an alarm that will warn the officer of a low battery <br />with sufficient time to remedy the problem. The unit will display a "Battery Low" <br />message on the screen and give an audible tone to draw attention to it. The Citation <br />writers can also display a message when the officer is citing a vehicle with a license <br />plate that is stored in the unit for: Habitual offender, warning, stolen vehicle, <br />previously cited, etc., the unit will display a message as to the type of file it is listed <br />under, or reason for the alarm. <br />70 <br />
