~ II NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTALLYAGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Paragraph 3 of the MOU is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />3 <br />"3, DURATION <br />4 This amendment to the MOU shall commence on January 1, 2009 and terminate on <br />5 30, 2010 or earlier if terminated by the repeal of the WIA of 1998. <br />6 This amendment to the MOU is of no force or effect until signed by the autho <br />7 representatives of the parties, and approved by the Chief Elected Official or his/her designee. <br />8 amendment to the MOU, once signed, becomes part of the WIA Plan. <br />9 This amendment maybe extended by written agreement between the parties provided <br />agreement is signed by both parties, prior to the termination date of the amendment, and cor <br />10 <br />the following: <br />11 A statement of intent to continue all provisions of the MOU; <br />12 Revised effective and termination dates; <br />13 Revised attachments as appropriate; <br />14 Dated signatures of the ADMINISTRATOR of the partner agency and the <br />15 Elected Official of the WIB." <br />16 2. Paragraph 7 of the MOU is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />17 ~~ "T. CONFIDENTIALITY: <br />18 <br />The WIB agrees that when any individual applies for or receives services from and fhrou <br />19 <br />the partner agency through the One-Stop Center, all information regarding such application for <br />20 <br />receipt of services shall be confidential information subject to the provisions of 34 CFR 361.38. <br />21 <br />22 The parties agree to honor the confidentiality provisions as described in the local WIA P1, <br />23 including modifications thereto, and incorporated into the MOU by reference.
