BK:1 /27/09 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />NO. 2008-34 AS CONDITIONED, VESTING TENTATIVE <br />TRACT MAP NO. 2008-04 AS CONDITIONED AND SITE <br />PLAN REVIEW NO. 2008-05 FOR THE PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 301 EAST JEANETTE LANE (COUNTY MAP <br />NO. 17242) <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br />A. Applicant is requesting approval of various entitlements in order to <br />construct Sky Lofts, the final portion of the City Place Development <br />located at 301 East Jeanette Lane. The Sky Lofts proposed project <br />consists of a high rise tower, stacked townhomes and a parking structure <br />on an approximately two acre site. The residential segment will provide <br />333 condominium units within the tower and 20 stacked for-sale <br />townhouses wrapping one-side of the 729-space parking garage. <br />Reaching approximately 366 feet into the air, the tower will provide 27 <br />levels of living space, four (4) levels of above grade parking and two (2) <br />levels below. <br />B. After continuing the matter following a noticed public hearing, at its regular <br />meeting of January 12, 2009, the Planning Commission voted by a vote of <br />vote of 5:1:1 (Yrarrazaval opposed, Turner abstained) to recommend that <br />the City Council: <br />1. Adopt a resolution certifying Final Environmental Impact Report <br />(EIR) No. 2007-02. <br />2. Adopt an ordinance approving Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. <br />2008-04. <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving an amendment to Development <br />Agreement No. 2004-04. <br />4. Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2008-34 <br />as conditioned. <br />5. Adopt a resolution approving Vesting Tentative Tract Map <br />No. 2008-04 (County Map No. 17242) as conditioned. <br />6.
