<br />Chapter 21 LICENSES'
<br />ARTICLE L DEFINITIONS
<br />Sec. 21-1. Short title; purpose -Defined.
<br />This chapter shall be known as the "Business License Tax Code." It is enacted solely to raise revenue for
<br />municipal purposes and is not intended for regulation.

<br />Sec. 21-2. Definitions -General.
<br />Whenever any words or phrases used in this Chapter are not defined herein but are defined elsewhere in this
<br />Code, such definitions are incorporated herein and shall apply to such words and phrases used in this Chapter
<br />unless the content clearly indicates a different intent.

<br />Sec. 21-3. Definitions -Specific.
<br />As used in this Chapter, the following words, terms, or phrases shall have the meaning hereinafter set forth:
<br />Annualization shall mean an estimation, extended for a twelve (12) month period, based on reported gross
<br />receipts for a prior period of less than twelve (12) months.
