On October 23, 2024, the City of Santa Ana held a <br />Vietnamese Business Forum. The Vietnamese Business <br />Forum aimed to foster collaboration, drive economic <br />growth, and create opportunities for Vietnamese business <br />expansion in Santa Ana. Throughout the event, attendees <br />had the opportunity to engage with representatives from <br />the City of Santa Ana's Community Development Agency, <br />Planning and Building Agency, Public Works Agency, <br />Finance and Management Services Agency, and the <br />Police Department. Business owners received guidance <br />on various aspects of business development, permitting <br />processes, zoning, safety measures, and more. <br />OVHomeownership Fair <br />On July 20, 2024, the City partnered with Wells <br />Fargo and the City of Garden Grove to host a <br />homeownership fair at Santa Ana College. <br />About 200 people attended and received <br />resources to help them buy a home. City staff <br />shared information about the My First Home <br />down payment assistance program, which <br />provides 0% interest loans of up to $120,000 to <br />help people buy their first home in Santa Ana. <br />On October 15, 2024, Mayor Valerie Amezcua <br />presented ROVE Electric Charging Station with <br />a Certificate of Recognition during its grand <br />opening celebration.
