Contractor shall check and notify the City of any missing or damaged <br />traffic signs mounted on the traffic signal poles. <br />Clean the solar panels in accordance to the manufacturer's <br />recommendation. This is required to be done once every 6 months. <br />Contractor shall clean Video Detection camera lens once a year <br />• Maintenance Record <br />The Contractor shall maintain a record log in each controller cabinet <br />showing the date and time of any service. It shall consist of: <br />a. Routine Maintenance <br />b. Extraordinary Maintenance <br />All records shall be legibly written or printed. These record logs shall <br />become property of the City. <br />f Extraordinary Maintenance <br />Extraordinary maintenance includes work tasks to install new, replace or repair <br />defective or obsolete equipment and perform modification work not directly <br />covered by routine maintenance. Work shall be performed with prior City <br />approval unless emergency or public safety conditions require immediate <br />response. <br />g. Emergency Service <br />The Contractor shall provide emergency service to the City twenty -four hours a <br />day, seven days a week upon City's request. Unless stated by the City at the time <br />of request, the contractor will need to ascertain whether request is of an emergency <br />nature requiring immediate response. <br />Failure or malfunction of the traffic signal or interruption of normal operation as to <br />create confusion or public hazard is considered emergency nature. <br />(a) The contractor shall provide qualified personnel at the location within 30 <br />minutes of receiving emergency request. <br />(b) The Contractor shall immediately troubleshoot and restore the traffic signal <br />to normal operations. If that is not possible due to the extent of the damage, <br />sufficient temporary repairs shall be made to enable the intersection to <br />operate safely. In no event shall the traffic signal be left overnight in dark <br />mode (black out). <br />(c) For intersections with power outages, The Contractor shall use the following <br />procedure: <br />(i) Setup temporary stop signs at all approach upon arrival at the site. <br />15 <br />
