CA 134 <br /> John Burk, Senior Civil Engineer, in his March 16, 1978 report <br /> points out that overhead electrical lines could become a serious <br /> }iazard to motorists and pedestrians in the event of an accident <br /> or natural disturbance, and that undergrounding of utility lines <br /> also enhances the aesthetic qualities of the .City. <br /> CODE ENFORCEMENT - NS-14()2 The report of the Planning <br /> DISPLAY F, SALE OF VEHICLES Department dated March 29, <br /> REPORT - FILED 1978 regarding the enforce- <br /> ment of the ordinance <br /> prohibiting the display of vehicles for sale in parking lot <br /> locations, was received and filed on the motion of Councilman <br /> Bricken, seconded by Councilman Garthe, carried 5:0 unanimously. <br /> The report stated that all major concentrations of the prohibited <br /> activity had been abated, and that continued enforcement would be <br /> conducted by the Planning Department with the use of a courtesy <br /> notice of violation and a follow-up telephone call or personal <br /> contact by the Land Use Investigator prior to the issuance of <br /> a citation. The report also stated that citation authority had <br /> greatly assisted in the enforcement effort, although only two <br /> citations were actually issued. <br /> Vice Mayor Ward suggested that ordinance violations in the area <br /> of Fairview and Warner Avenues be investigated. CA 78 <br /> CONDOMINIUM CONVERSION STUDY On the motion of Council- <br /> UPDATE ~ STATISTICAL ANALYSIS man Bricken, seconded by <br /> FILED Councilman Brandt, carried <br /> - 5:0 unanimously, the <br /> Condominium Conversion Study Update and Statistical Analysis <br /> dated March 28, 1978 was received and filed.
