12. Soccer /Football Field Maintenance <br />a) All soccer/football fields shall be inspected every day, Monday through Friday. <br />Contractor shall look for divots, depressions, debris, and other turf marring <br />conditions. If discovered, the Contractor shall fill in divots and depressions <br />with #20 white silica sand mixed with LaPrima XD Bermuda grass seed during <br />the spring/summer and Stovers Grand Slam perennial rye grass seed during the <br />fall winter to re-establish the areas. <br />b) Areas of the field where turf has been worn away due to play shall be raked, <br />dragged and leveled each day to provide a level -playing surface free of divots, <br />depressions and uneven surfaces. The Contractor shall add approved topsoil to <br />these areas as necessary to keep the areas level and safe. <br />c) Annually, the Contractor shall top dress outfield turf using Aguanaga Santa Ana <br />mix or approved product. Apply with an approved top dressing machine that <br />will achieve a level playing surface. <br />13. Sport Court Maintenance <br />a) All sport courts shall be blown off daily. Courts and fence lines shall be <br />completely free of dirt, debris, etc. <br />b) All sport Courts shall be washed down every other week to remove dust, gum <br />and stains. The courts shall have water removed immediately following the <br />washing down. <br />c) Contractor shall replace tennis and basketball nets when they become worn. <br />The City shall furnish nets. <br />14. General Maintenance and Clean -un For All Parks and Contracted Sites <br />a) All trash and debris on the ground or in trash receptacles shall be removed from <br />all worksites each day Monday through Sunday before 12:00 p.m. This includes <br />all landscape areas, paved areas, street curb gutters, flood control channels, etc. <br />b) The contractor shall rake, hand remove, or vacuum leaves that are not absorbed <br />by planting. This shall be done as often as required to maintain a neat <br />appearance. <br />c) After heavy windstorms or other inclement weather that impacts sites under this <br />agreement, the Contractor shall bring in extra staff to clean all parks areas within <br />two (2) days at no cost to the City. Debris, such as but not limited to, litter, <br />fallen branches, trash, limbs, branches, soil erosion, etc., shall be removed from <br />the worksites. <br />22 <br />
