Also address integrity) <br />The Conklin House is architecturally significant as a TudorRevival style. /t was built by Roy Russell, a prolific and notable local <br />contractor, as a speculative venture. The first occupants were Irwin and Gertrude Clyde, but they only remained in the home <br />until 1934 when William and Lottie Mae White took up residence in 1934. William was the Orange County Court Reporter. <br />They lived in the house until 1937 when they moved to a home on Bonnie Brae.. That year, William and Lucy Conker <br />purchased the home. They were ranchers by trade, but retired to this home. in 1947, Mr. Conklin died, and Lucy continued to <br />live in the house until at least 1956. After that time, the house was sold several times until the current owners, the Beamons, <br />purchased the home in 2003. <br />(See Continuation Sheet 3 of 4.) <br />B11.
