AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT UNDER <br />THE WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT <br />THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this _ day of May, 2010, by and between O'Reilly and <br />Associates ( "Consultant ") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation duly organized and <br />existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ( "City "). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The City and Consultant entered into that certain Agreement Under the Workforce Investment Act dated <br />November 2, 2009, hereinafter referred to as "said Agreement" for Consultant to assist with analysis, review and <br />implement plans and policies related to the Santa Ana WORK Center's Service Integration. <br />B. The parties hereto now desire to amend said Agreement to extend the term, add additional funds and update <br />the Scope of Work. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter contained and <br />made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereto do <br />hereby agree as follows: <br />Section 1 "Time Period of Agreement" shall be amended to extend the term to December 31, 2010. <br />2. Section 3 "Scope of Services" shall be updated to include the services as set forth in Exhibit A, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />3. Section 6 "Compensation" shall be amended to add additional funds of Sixty Thousand Dollars <br />($60,000), so that the total amount of Compensation to Consultant under said Agreement and this Amendment <br />shall not exceed Ninety Eight' €housand Dollars ($98,000). <br />4. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged and in <br />full force and effect. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment to said Agreement the date and <br />year first above written. <br />ATTEST: CITY OF SANTA ANA, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California <br />Maria D.
