A' <br /> J~ 2 SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> ~ ?~I`I~ C l~,css <br /> J~~ THIS SF~COND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT, is entered into on <br /> ~ ' n' November,,3O , 2002, by and between Language Line, LLC ("Language Line") and <br /> the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California <br /> ("City"). <br /> Recitals: <br /> A. The parties entered into an Agreement N-2000-142, dated August 30, 2000, <br /> (hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Language Line has provided over-the phone <br /> interpreter services. <br /> B. Said Agreement was amended by the parties to provide that the total sum payable <br /> under said Agreement would not exceed $10,000.00. <br /> C. The parties wish to again amend said Agreement to provide additional compensation <br /> so that services may continue to be provided. <br /> VVhe~refore, in consideration of the covenants contained in the Agreement, and subject to <br /> all the terms and conditions of the Agreement, and the Amendment to Agreement, except <br /> those amended in this Second Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: ~ <br /> I <br /> 1. Pursuant to Section 2 of said Agreement, Consultant and City agree to renew the i <br /> Agreement and to increase the total sum payable under said Agreement by $10,000 to <br /> a total of $20,000.00. <br /> 2. Except as hereinabove modified, all terms and conditions of said Agreement, and <br /> Amendment to Agreement, shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> J/ <br /> 11 <br /> <br />
