Adopt a resolution approving Transit Zoning Code Architectural <br />Style Guidelines and Transit Zoning Code Street Network <br />Concepts. <br />B. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana held a duly noticed public hearing <br />on the above said actions for the Transit Zoning Code Specific Development <br />District (SD-84) on June 7, 2010, and at that time considered all testimony, <br />written and oral. <br />C. At said public hearing, a Supplemental Staff Report dated June 7, 201 O from <br />the Executive Director of Planning and Building Agency to the City Manager <br />(the SSR) was presented to the City Council which contained the following: <br />1. Amendment to the General Plan Land Use Element as to Flood <br />Control. <br />2. Amendment to the TZC Street Network Concepts as to bus/transit <br />stops. <br />3. Supplemental Responses to Comments to the Draft EIR. <br />4. Amendments to the Findings of Fact <br />5. Additions to the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Plan_ <br />The contents of the SSR were to be integrated into all of the applicable <br />referenced documents and be considered part of the record. <br />D. General Plan Amendment No_ 2010-01 has been filed with the City of <br />Santa Ana to: <br />1 . Modify the Land Use Element as follows: <br />a. Creation of the Urban Neighborhood Land Use Designation, <br />with an intensity standard ranging from a Floor Area Ratio <br />(FAR) from 0.5 to 1 .5, which will allow for a mix of residential <br />uses and housing types. <br />b. Creation of the Transit Village major development area with <br />a FAR of 5.0. <br />c. Expansion of the Downtown District Center to a FAR 3.0. <br />d. Expansion of the District Center land use designation to an <br />additional 58.72 acres. <br />e. Elimination of the Residential/Industrial land use designation. <br />f. Update the demographic characteristics, land use, economic <br />and infrastructure to reflect current status of the City. <br />2.
