Fourteen proposals <br />were submitted by the RFP deadline and all were determined to be responsive to the <br />specifications and met the City’s requirements. An evaluation committee reviewed and <br />rated the proposals according to the criteria listed in the RFP, and the following <br />summarizes the top six responding firms and their rankings: <br />Firm City Rank <br />Butier Engineering, Inc.Tustin, CA 1 <br />Z&K Consultants, Inc.Riverside, CA 2 <br />Berg & Associates, Inc.San Pedro, CA 3 <br />Psomas Santa Ana, CA 4 <br />Willdan Engineering Anaheim, CA 5 <br />EEC Environmental Orange, CA 6 <br />Each of the proposals demonstrated the firms have the necessary capacity and <br />expertise to complete the required services. Therefore, staff recommends awarding <br />agreements to Butier Engineering Inc., Z&K Consultants, Berg & Associates Inc., <br />Psomas, Willdan Engineering, and EEC Environmental (Exhibits 1-6), to ensure <br />sufficient resources are available to meet the needs of the Water Division. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with the action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />City staff will schedule the requested services upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed. <br />However, the consultants will not be assigned tasks until July 1, 2025. As a result, no <br />expenses will be incurred during FY 2024-25.
