<br /> <br />Orange County 32 25-29 Regional AFH <br /> <br />• In Fountain Valley, the majority of households in both Project -based Section 8 <br />housing and the HCV Program are AAPI, and there are no Black households in <br />Project-based Section 8 units. <br />• In Fullerton, nearly all of the households in Project -based Section 8 units are AAPI <br />and the majority of households in Other Multifamily program units are White. In the <br />HCV Program, White and Hispanic families each make up approximately one-third <br />of households, and Black and AAPI families each make up approximately 14% of <br />households. <br />• In Garden Grove, a large majority of households in both Project-based Section 8 <br />housing and the HCV Program are AAPI (over 80% in each program). <br />• In Huntington Beach, over 50% of households in Project-based Section 8 units are <br />AAPI and around one-third are White. In the HCV Program, over 40% of households <br />are White and around one-third are AAPI. <br />• In Irvine, White households are the majority in Project -based Section 8 and Other <br />Multifamily program units and are the largest share of households in the HCV <br />Program (46.76%). In the HCV Program, Black households are the second largest <br />racial/ethnic group, comprising approximately one-fifth of households. <br />• In La Habra, Hispanic households are the majority of HCV Program participants. The <br />second largest racial/ethnic group is White households, who comprise 25% of <br />households in the program. In Project-based Section 8 units, Hispanic, White, and <br />AAPI each comprise approximately one-third of households. <br />• In Laguna Niguel, the majority of households in both Project -based Section 8 <br />housing and the HCV Program are White. <br />• In Lake Forest, the majority of households in the HCV Program are White. There are <br />no other types of publicly supported housing in the city. <br />• In Mission Viejo, the majority of households in the HCV Program are White. There <br />are no other types of publicly supported housing included in the HUD-provided data. <br />(However, per the City’s Housing Element and other local sources, there are various <br />publicly supported housing developments in the city.) <br />• In Newport Beach, the majority of households in both Project -based Section 8 <br />housing and the HCV Program are White. <br />• In Orange, White and Hispanic households each comprise a slightly more than 40% <br />of households in Project-based Section 8 units, and approximately one-third of <br />households in the HCV Program. AAPI households make up around 25% of <br />households in the HCV Program. <br />• In Rancho Santa Margarita, the majority of households in the HCV Program are <br />White. There are no other types of publicly supported housing in the city. <br />• In San Clemente, the majority of households in both Project -based Section 8 <br />housing and the HCV Program are White. <br />EXHIBIT 6
