<br /> <br />Orange County 89 25-29 Regional AFH <br /> <br />Map 8 – Economic Score – South Orange County <br /> Source: California HCD, AFFH Data Viewer <br />The following analysis describes the groups that are least successful in accessing <br />employment. <br />Table 7 - Labor Force Participation and Unemployment, shows 2018-2022 ACS data on <br />labor force participation rates and unemployment rates in the region and Orange County, <br />for the overall population and by race/ethnicity, disability status, and sex. The table shows <br />that: <br />• Orange County has lower unemployment rates than the region for every group <br />measured in the table, except for Pacific Islanders. <br />• Labor force participation rates are generally higher in Orange County than the <br />region, except for White individuals (lower in the County than the region) and Asian <br />individuals (same rate in County and region). <br />• Similar to the region overall, Black individuals have the highest unemployment rate <br />in Orange County. In the County, Pacific Islanders have the second highest <br />unemployment rate. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT 6
