Disability and Access <br />The following analysis describes the barriers that deny individuals with disabilities access <br />to opportunity and community assets. <br />Table 7 – Disability by Type, presents the percentage of residents with various disabilities <br />living in the region, Orange County, the Orange County Urban County jurisdictions, and in <br />HUD Entitlement City. In the region and Orange County overall, the most prevalent form of <br />disability is ambulatory difficulty, followed by independent living difficulty. Ambulatory <br />difficulty is also the most prevalent form of disability in the Urban County jurisdictions and <br />all HUD Entitlement Cities except for Aliso Viejo and Rancho Santa Margarita, where <br />cognitive difficulty is most prevalent, and Irvine, where independent living difficulty is most <br />prevalent. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT 6
