Expand outreach and education on recent state laws (SB 329 and <br />SB 222) supporting source of income protection for publicly <br />assisted low-income households (HCVs). <br />Begin in 2023 <br />2. Increase affordable housing in high opportunity areas through the <br />following actions: <br /> <br />a. Establish a new Housing Program Coordinator planner position <br />to oversee and expedite Housing Element program <br />implementation. <br />Beginning in 2023. <br />b. Create a comprehensive ADU Handbook with tools to facilitate <br />ADU production. <br />12/1/2022. <br />c. Require that 25% of the total number of units or lots, whichever <br />is greater, in new subdivisions of two or more residential units or <br />lots and 25% of new development of three or more units on <br />existing building sites be affordable to extremely-low-, very-low- <br />, low- or moderate-income households or individuals. <br />Initiate <br />inclusionary <br />housing policy <br />update in 2023 <br />with a market <br />feasible study. d.
