As the need by the City is not guaranteeing a volume of requests and has not <br />provided a schedule of trips to be accommodated, if the vendor is unable to <br />accommodate the trip as requested based on availability, will the request be made of <br />another vendor without penalty or is the vendor expected to accommodate all <br />requests? <br />A. We would utilize another vendor if our request could not be met and no penalty <br />would be assessed. <br />5. Q. Will the City provide examples of previously applied liquidated damages? <br />A. Not at this time. <br />6. Q. Given the opportunity cost created by a cancelled trip with short notice, would the <br />city be willing to accept a cancellation fee if the trip was cancelled within 1 business <br />day of the trip (weather exempted)? <br />A. This would be open for discussion if the vendor(s) awarded the contract would like <br />to do so. <br />7. Q. When would a tentative (ideally firm) trip schedule be available by the awarded <br />contractor for scheduling? <br />A. Summer camp is firm at 10 weeks every Thursday with the need for 3 to 4 buses. <br />Additional excursions would have dates at least one month prior. <br />8. Q. Does the city intend to award to multiple vendors? <br />A.
