Supportive Services for Work Experience <br /> Participants may receive supportive services to ensure successful participation in work <br /> experience, including: <br /> 1. Transportation assistance (bus passes, gas cards). <br /> 2. Childcare support. <br /> 3. Work attire or uniforms. <br /> 4. Tools or equipment required for the job. <br /> 5. Technology access (Wi-Fi, laptops, etc.). <br /> Participants must submit a Supportive Services Request Form and document their efforts to <br /> obtain assistance from other sources before receiving supportive services through W1OA funds. <br /> 10. Reporting and Documentation <br /> 1. Case managers must maintain a case file for each participant, including: <br /> 2. Completed work experience agreement. <br /> 3. Academic and occupational education plan. <br /> 4. Attendance records and performance evaluations. <br /> 5. Documentation of supportive services provided. <br /> 6. Case notes detailing participant progress and challenges. <br /> 11. Compliance and Oversight <br /> Local areas must comply with the requirement to spend at least 20% of WIOA youth formula <br /> funds on work experience. Compliance will be monitored through: <br /> 1. Quarterly expenditure reviews. <br /> 2. Participant outcome tracking. <br /> 3. Employer feedback and satisfaction surveys. <br />
