<br /> Administrative Plan 7/1/2025 <br />. <br />Page 15-15 <br />15-V.C. COOPERATIVE: HOUSING QUALITY STANDARDS <br />All housing quality standard requirements apply to cooperative housing units. There are no <br />additional requirements. The PHA remedies described in 24 CFR 982.404 do not apply. Rather, <br />if the unit and premises are not maintained in accordance with housing quality standards, the <br />PHA may exercise all available remedies regardless of whether the family or cooperative is <br />responsible for the breach of housing quality standards. <br />No housing assistance payment can be made unless unit meets housing quality standards and the <br />defect is corrected within the period as specified by the PHA and the PHA verifies correction <br />(see Chapter 8). <br />In addition to regular deficiencies, breaches of housing quality standards by the family include <br />failure to perform any maintenance for which the family is responsible in accordance with the <br />terms of the cooperative occupancy agreement [HCV GB]. <br />EXHIBIT 1
